Track who did what
in research collaborations.
i•CONNECTS is a free, scientist-focused collaboration platform that coordinates distributed research projects and makes contribution credit transparent, verifiable, and portable.
What it does
Built for systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and coordinated distributed experiments in ecology, biology, and medicine.
Task & verification
Assign, complete, and peer-verify tasks. Each closed task becomes a permanent, attributable contribution record.
Contribution ledger
Cross-project contribution history, mapped toward CRediT taxonomy for fair, evidence-based authorship conversations.
Global, ORCID-linked
Free for external collaborators. ORCID identity links keep researcher profiles portable across institutions.
How it works
-
1
Create a project
Set a title, description, and project lead. Choose whether the project is public or private.
-
2
Invite collaborators
Add members by email or share a join link. Assign roles: Admin, Lead, Collaborator, Member.
-
3
Assign & verify tasks
Tasks move from new → assigned → done → closed. An optional peer verifier signs off before a task closes.
-
4
Generate a contribution record
Each closed task is an immutable contribution record. Export it for authorship and CRediT statements.
